What is recorded when you visit
Our web server writes a short technical log entry for each request. It contains the date and time, the page requested, the referring page, the response status and your browser and operating system version. Your IP address is shortened before it is written, so no complete IP address is ever stored.
The legal basis is Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is operating the site reliably and defending it against attack. Log entries are deleted after 14 days at the latest.
Where the site is hosted
This website runs on servers operated by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany, acting as our processor under a data processing agreement pursuant to Article 28 GDPR. The servers are located in Germany. No data is transferred outside the European Union.
If you write to us
When you send us an e-mail we process the address you write from and the content of your message in order to answer it, on the basis of Article 6 (1) (b) or (f) GDPR. We keep the correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry, and longer where commercial or tax law requires it.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you (Article 15);
- have inaccurate data corrected (Article 16);
- have your data erased (Article 17);
- restrict how we process it (Article 18);
- receive it in a portable format (Article 20);
- object to processing based on legitimate interest (Article 21).
